In response to several requests, this Jack Jones LP is reposted. To my knowledge it has not been released on CD. There are only 11 cuts on the album. My vinyl of this was near perfect. No arranging or orchestra credits were on the album jacket. Side One:
What the World Needs Now is Love
Afterthoughts
I'm Indestructible
I Never Go There Anymore
The One I Love Belongs to Somebody Else
Side Two:
The Eyes of Love (Theme from Banning)
True Love
Yesterday
The Gypsies, The Jugglers and The Clowns
Seein' the Right Love Go Wrong
I Only Have Eyes for You
Thank you, very much!
ReplyDeleteI'm a Brazilian fan of your blogspot. It was very nice to find this post with Jack Jones album. I think JJ is a great singer, like Sinatra was and Bennett is. His version for "Manhã de Carnaval" - "A day in the life of a fool" is simply wonderful. More JJ if possible, please. Thank you!
ReplyDeleteFantastic! Thank you. It would be wonderful to hear more Jones ... perhaps some of the long unavailable albums like "This Love of Mine" (aka "Jack Jones In Love"), "Shall We Dance," or "For the 'In' Crowd"? Here's hoping..
ReplyDeletethanks!!!!
