GEORGE SHEARING - JUST FOR YOU

In 1956 George Shearing did a series of live broadcasts from ZARDI'S on Hollywood Blvd in Los Angeles and BASIN STREET in NYC over NBC's weekend MONITOR program. This is one example of these wonderful, relaxing shows.

The first session is February of 1956 from Zardi's.

This second session is from Basin Street on May 24, 1956. 

Personnel includes: George Shearing, Piano; Johnny Rae, vibes; Toots Thielemans, guitar; Al McKibbon, bass; and Bill Clark, drums.
